Off Road Trips

18th ORT in The Lone Ranger – Moonlight Racing 6-1-13

This park exceeded all the expectations we had going into it. I’m looking forward to the next trip out there, but we’ll probably hold off until it cools off some and kills some bugs (tick central right now!).

Started out very wet:

We traveled a little over 9.5 miles over the course of the day:

We wandered around on the North East side of the park, until we got yelled at. Apparently you need to knock on the door to give them money if no one is floating around the office (never mind the dogs, they’re friendly enough):

Once checked in, a YJ and XJ jumped into the stream crossing and we wandered around the South West portion of the park:

And from there, we wandered all around the park. No map yet, so I don’t really know where all the photo’s came from.

There are quite a few fun ledges in the park to play on:

Someone did mange to goad a friend into playing for our amusement
