Giant City State Park

Giant City is one of the most beautiful state parks in Illinois with amazing trails past towering rock formations, shelter caves, and wet-weather waterfalls. The park also offers many amenities including a great Visitor Center with interactive exhibits for kids, a stunning CCC era lodge with restaurant, plus cabins and campground for an extended stay.

7 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Trail Hours:
7 a.m. – Dusk

Visitor Center Hours:
8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Lodge Hours:
8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Mon – Sat & 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. Sunday

Don’t miss visiting the beautiful stone lodge. The lodge serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily from the first Friday in Feb. through mid-December. The fried chicken is especially a hit!
