We’re still around!
So there hasn’t been much to say on here lately, but that doesn’t mean there hasn’t been a lot going on! After much debate, we finally pulled the trigger and sold our house that has been home to us for the past 12 years: There was a lot of stress and drama associated with this deal, but it is done and behind us now. We now have our stuff scattered to the winds, and the new house is currently under…

The Mighty Merc – 4th ORT – SMORR on 10/14/17

Once the sun was up, we bombed over the hill to Idaho Springs to see the waterwheel at the rest stop. I’m still kind of amazed the poor Merc didn’t scatter itself across the interstate when working its way up to the…

Colorado 2017 in the Mighty Merc – Tuesday
We were so beat from our hiking adventure the day before (not to mention the sore backs and blisters on the feet) that it seemed prudent to do a bit more mechanical exploring rather than loading the kids up on our backs again. So we slept in and headed off towards Webster Pass: It still strikes us as funny to come across these signs out in the middle of nowhere: But they were actively working out there. I’m sure it…
