A good friend of mine finally had a day off so we snuck down to Washita for a quick day trip. We wound getting out the door earlier than usual to beat the heat, which worked out perfectly. Travel:

7th ORT Washita MX – 4/21/12
I didn’t have my camera, but my friend grabbed a few with his phone. Minimal damage for me this trip out (Broken door handle, and roached motor mounts). The CJ that was with us managed to sheaer the bolts off his high steer arm on the back side of the park, so we made a long afternoon of dragging him back out. My neighbor and I ran down to Washita this past Saturday and met up the SJIA group. Since the neighbor was along for the ride, I got a plethora of photos out of the deal. Washita MX 7-30-11
This past weekend, I wandered out to Washita MX for the trucks second off-road outing. Overall, the truck performed very well, though there’s a few things that need to be changed up. I’ll get to those later. We covered about 11 miles of trails (red dotted line):
