While we don’t get a ton of big snows around St. Louis, there are usually a few good snowfalls each winter to cover the ground. Plan your snow day fun by using this handy list of twenty different sledding hills all around the St. Louis metro area.

The classic spot in St. Louis in front of the Art Museum with a giant hill and a lot of history!

❄️Suson Park – St. Louis⠀
It’s not the biggest, but there is a gentle hill near the playground perfect for kids

❄️Crestwood Park – St. Louis⠀

A great sledding hill

❄️Endicott Park – St. Louis⠀
Find the sledding spot to the right when coming in the main entrance

❄️Deer Creek Park – Maplewood⠀

This hill is short but very steep. Use caution!

There is a long and steep hill near the basketball court

❄️Blanchette Park – St. Charles

Bum’s Hollow near the back of the park has hills of all sizes perfect for all ages of kids

❄️Pleasant Ridge Park – Fairview Heights⠀

There are a lot of hills here both big and small with plenty of room to spread out

❄️Glidden Park – Collinsville⠀
This park opens for sledding when there is at least 2″ on snow on the ground. Must have plastic or inflatable sleds only. The hill is near the pavilion.

❄️Haskell Park – Alton⠀
A steeper hill great for older kids

❄️St. Ellen Mine Park – O’Fallon, IL

Huge hills here make a great spot to sled
