Colorado and Utah 2012 – In a 2 Door XJ -Monday
Another hot day out here, which found us putting another 154 miles on the ole XJ today. So far the silly thing is ticking happily along, but the lack of A/C in the thing makes for some warm times while riding around (I swear that we’ve managed to melt our shoes a little bit from the heat coming off the floor!). Colorado and Utah 2012 – In a 2 Door XJ – Sunday
Dumped another 200 photos in that top link… I forget how awesome the weather is here. This mornings Temp was 46°F and I was comfortable in shorts and a T shirt. This afternoon was in the upper 80’s and again, completely comfortable. I could get used to this! Looking out from our hotel room, we see this:

UT/CO in an XJ! 2012 Friday/Saturday
We’re making the trek out west again this year. Going as far west as Moab, then back through CO on the way back home. You folks seemed to enjoy the past posts on our trips (and I like reading about other peoples trips) so follow along if you’d like!

29th ORT In The Lone Ranger – 1-1-15 Washita MX
Well I managed to sneak another trip in with the truck for our annual New Years Day run. I didn’t get to wheel the truck as much as I would have like to have as 3 of the Jeeps I was running around with suffered some failures (Dead hub/locker, Popped shaft, no start). Since the trucks future looks bleak, I haven’t spent any time fixing things on it, so onto the trailer it went for the ride down: <a href=”http://saral.zenfolio.com/p702483558/ea6eff2c”><img…

Upgrading the smaller work bench
The smaller work bench (Click Me) as been serving me well, but it could use a bit of an improvement in a couple of areas. One thing it was lacking was a good bench vise. A Craigslist find later and I’m in business. The top of the bench was thick enough that I just drilled and tapped the mounting holes:
