Another hot day out here, which found us putting another 154 miles on the ole XJ today. So far the silly thing is ticking happily along, but the lack of A/C in the thing makes for some warm times while riding around (I swear that we’ve managed to melt our shoes a little bit from the heat coming off the floor!). Colorado – Utah in a borrowed TJ 2010
Riding high on our success of the 2009 Colorado trip, we were amped up to head out west again in 2010. But our plans were nearly ruined when I was unable to obtain a suitable 4×4 to take out west (the Cherokee market dried up, thanks Cash for Clunkers!). But all was not lost due to an offer from a very generous friend. We were able to make the trek out west in his essentially stock (save for 30” tires)…
