    Day 7 of our trip found us at Bob’s place again for breakfast before we headed out to drive the Hagerman Pass Trail. The trail starts just outside Leadville and crosses the divide towards Basalt. The road mostly follows an old railroad grade including the remains of a train tunnel. The tunnel was completed in 1885 to cross the continental divide between Leadville and Aspen.     We decided to try something different for breakfast this day and tried out Bobs Place in Avon. The kids and adults enjoyed it, and there were some Gluten Free options on the menu as well which worked well for Nana. We made a couple more stops here during our trip and would highly recommend it.     Today was a special, yet somewhat sad day. Special because we got to sneak out on a “no kids” hike in on this trip as we had some built in baby sitters. Sad, because we didn’t get to share the day with the kids.     Day 4 found us up and early as usual. Our plan for the day was to take another trip down to Leadville (about 45 min from our hotel). We had a Twin Lakes boat ride and historic tour booked. On the way out there we made a quick detour to grab another photo of the ghost town of Gilman and take a closer look a the Red Cliff Bridge on Highway 24:
