21st ORT in The Lone Ranger โ€“ Interlake 9-21-13

I like this park, I like it a lot more when itโ€™s dry. Sadly though, it rained about 1.5โ€ the day before we headed out to the park which made getting around to some of the parts we wanted to get to impossible as the hill climbs would have just been a winchfest. So in spite of being denied early in the day, and with a little U-joint carnage, we still managed to cover about 10 miles of the park:…

It rained on us all the way until Noon: Shot of the group in the parking lot: Somehow I got elected trail guide and we headed off into the park: For some reason, people like to follow me around, so we started wandering around and I manged to immediately led the group to a very slick, muddy hill climb: Videos (click the picture): We pushed on through the…

    ORT โ€“ Interlake SRA 1/29/11

I was lacking a wheeler, but still had an itch to get out into the woods. So I grabbed a seat from a friend and rode on! It was fun playing passenger for a change. And yes, that’s about as sloppy as that soil can get. I’m looking forward to another trip out there this year, maybe when its green and not so wet! We covered about 15.7 miles over the course of the day, mostly just wandering around in…
