29th ORT In The Lone Ranger – 1-1-15 Washita MX
Well I managed to sneak another trip in with the truck for our annual New Years Day run. I didn’t get to wheel the truck as much as I would have like to have as 3 of the Jeeps I was running around with suffered some failures (Dead hub/locker, Popped shaft, no start). Since the trucks future looks bleak, I haven’t spent any time fixing things on it, so onto the trailer it went for the ride down: <a href=”http://saral.zenfolio.com/p702483558/ea6eff2c”><img…

26th ORT in The Lone Ranger – Washita 7-26-14
This is the first time I’ve been down to Washita since the new ownership has taken over. While they aren’t open as much as they used to be, the park is better marked than it has ever been! It’s been over a year since I’ve made the trip down there so it was nice to get back to the old stomping grounds, even if it was 200°F out side! Needless to say it was extremely dry which limited traction quite…

25th ORT in The Lone Ranger – SMORR 6-21-14
We headed down to SMORR with several folks from SIJA and MO4wd. Some familiar faces and some strangers. Good times were had. Lots of photos in the link below: Slideshow of all the photos (Click Me!) Loaded up the truck and went to work on Friday, patiently waiting for the bell to ring to head South: We had to make a quick stop in Rolla for some grub and check out the XJ’s steering. It turned out that the ram…
