Small Rolling Tool Tray

It seems that I often spend more time looking for tools that get spread out under the car than actually working on the problem at hand. It often looks like a small bomb went off in my tool pile when I really start to get into the swing of things.

To put it mildly, this is annoying.

So I wanted to try to improve this situation some with a small rolling tool tray. The idea being that the try center portion is large enough to hold one of my molded craftsman tool box trays, and still allow storage for the loose tools/bits as well. So take a pile of metal and some cheap rollers:

Use the small welding platform (LINK) to finish welding:

I’m hoping that the tray will help me keep things contained in one area while working under the cars. The theory is that a nice red target to throw things at will make the end of the job clean up that much quicker.

Edit:  I wound up swapping the casters out for some Cast Iron ones as the original plastic ones were picking up too much junk from the ground.
