ORT – Jeep Jam 2015 at Flat Nasty Off Road 5-2-15
The 10th annual SIJA Jeep Jam was held at Flat Nasty Off Road this year. We really couldn’t have asked for better weather, and as always, it was an awesome day in the woods! This was the boy’s first trip down to Flat Nasty and really his first experience with playing on the rocks. Thankfully, he seemed to enjoy it quite a bit! Since the whole family was going, I had set the Cookie Cutter TJ up so that it…

Garage Tips – Fuel Injector Cleaning at home
The Cookie Cutter TJ got a ‘new’ set of injectors thrown at it. I ditched the stock 53030778 Chrysler injectors for the Bosch 0208155703’s. I came across a little tip on cleaning out used injectors that worked pretty slick. You take a 5ml syringe, pull the plunger out, and stick a red stray in the other end. The Lone Ranger – Front SAS – D44, leafs, and D35 Tear out

Quick and dirty axle storage stand
It seems like I’m always collecting parts around my garage. Some of the larger items that tend to hang out are axles. As of the time of this writing, I have a Dana 60 and 14 bolt that came out of The Lone Ranger waiting for their next home to appear. In the mean time I needed to get them in a position to take up less of my valuable real estate in the garage. So I started with another…

The Lone Ranger Project – NHL Body Lift
I’d noticed when I purchased this truck that there were a few body mounts that were shot. There are also a few of the frame mounts that will need a helping hand, but we’ll get to those later. Since there is a doubler in the near future for this toy, I thought a little extra clearance under the cab might make it easier to install one. If you’ve never done a body lift, there really isn’t much to one. Loosen/remove…
