Colorado and Utah 2012 – In a 2 Door XJ – Sunday
Dumped another 200 photos in that top link… I forget how awesome the weather is here. This mornings Temp was 46°F and I was comfortable in shorts and a T shirt. This afternoon was in the upper 80’s and again, completely comfortable. I could get used to this! Looking out from our hotel room, we see this:

We’re making the trek out west again this year. Going as far west as Moab, then back through CO on the way back home. You folks seemed to enjoy the past posts on our trips (and I like reading about other peoples trips) so follow along if you’d like!

4th Road Trip – Valley View Glades Mo
Since we left the poor dog and the truck home when we recently went out west, we made it up to both of them this weekend by going on a short road trip to Valley View Glades in Mo near Hillsborough. 3rd Road trip to Ha Ha Tonka State Park 5/6/12
Since we were near SMORR, the wife wanted to go check out the castle ruins in Ha Ha Tonka State park. So after a hearty breakfast at Coops Cafe (next to the Americas Best Inn in Seymour – Both are recommended), we turned the truck north to the park.

2011 WY/MT Trip – Day 6
Today was a day of our longest (well, steepest anyway) hike. That being, the hike to Grinnell Glacier off of Many Glaciers Road. Daily Travel: Cruising into the park: We did wind up cheating a little bit on the hike. You can either walk the extra distance around the lakes, or you can take a couple of boat rides to get to the trail head. Since we knew our hike was 4.2 miles each way (and 1,569ft of elevation gain)…
