The Mighty Merc – Rear Cargo Platform
I have a dream that will probably never become a reality, but I hope to aspire to it one day. That dream is to have all the tools required for the Merc to just live in the Merc full time. That way when I’m ready to wheel, I won’t have to spend any time getting things loaded up, hoping that I didn’t forget something. I can just jump in and go.

Cuivre River State Park 10/19/15
More boring housework for us this weekend, but we did manage to get out an hike at Cuivre River (pronounced Quiver River) park near Troy MO.

Valley View Glades – 5-16-16
We ran off to Valley View Glades to keep working on getting our hiking legs under us again. The kids handled the trip well, and the little girl didn’t scream the whole way for a change! While it was a bit cool on Saturday, the valleys were pleasant, but the views were a bit windy: Some water was flowing:

St. Francois Park Mooner’s Hollow Hike 5-2-16
Since the weather was so nice, we headed out to hike Mooners Hollow in St. Fracois Park in MO. The boy was ready for more adventure: This was the first time the little girl got to ride in her pack for a decent hike. The Mighty Merc – Front Winch Bumper
Being able to self-recover is something I try to strive for with my builds. In that vein, I make it a point to fit a winch to the front of my toys. I will admit that it doesn’t get used that often, but when it does, it’s a big help! The goal was to tuck the winch in as tight to the body as I could in hopes that I could reuse the stock bumper cover for a cleaner look…
