Well it nearly felt like this day would never come, but I finally broke my 1.5 year wheeling drought by getting out to wheel New Year’s Eve with some old friends. I also dragged along Grandpa and the Boy to share in the adventure. After waking up the kid early and picking up grandpa, we headed down to the park:

The Mighty Merc – Crossing the 1,000 mile mark
This past Turkey Day, we loaded up the Mercury for its first long road trip, which at the end of the trip marked the 1,000 mile point since the build first rolled out of the garage.

I have a dream that will probably never become a reality, but I hope to aspire to it one day. That dream is to have all the tools required for the Merc to just live in the Merc full time. That way when I’m ready to wheel, I won’t have to spend any time getting things loaded up, hoping that I didn’t forget something. I can just jump in and go.
