Michigan 2014

After life became a bit more stable since the addition of our first born son, we decided to run up to Michigan for a short vacation. This was our first long ‘family’ trip out and I was impressed at how much stuff a kid needs to travel with. This is only half of the stuff that was crammed into the Merc, thus killing my dreams of a 2 door build:

We bunked up with the Grandparents at a nice little time share. It worked out perfectly as we were able to give the kid his own room to sleep in:

We took in all the sights the area had to offer. Drove all the way up to the Northern most point in the LP:

Saw some big ole motors (10 cylinder, 20 piston), and there are 6 of them on this boat:

And generally played tourists:

Sunset time lapse, when the waves were really rocking, they were about 6′ or so tall!
