Silver Dollar City Christmas Tips

  • Silver Dollar City can get very crowded, especially the closer to Christmas. If you can visit on a weekday, you can enjoy a less crowded experience.
  • Try to arrive about 30-60 minutes before the park opens to be ready for rope drop. This gives you plenty of time to ride the most popular rides first.
  • The parade route is marked with white lines and snowflakes. Find a spot to watch about 30 minutes before the parade starts to get a good view. The square gets very crowded, we prefer finding a spot on Hill Street.
  • The crowds clear out after the first parade. If you can stick around, you can enjoy a less busy experience and a chance to capture those stunning lights.
  • Consider purchasing a tasting passport. It gives you the chance to try 5 different seasonal items for one price. Many of the food items are full sized.

Every time we visited Branson we would drive past the giant Titanic replica at the Titanic Museum Attraction and my kids would ask to go. We finally planned a visit and this attraction was a great mix of education and interactive adventure.
