Oh Canada! 2013 Trip – Monday!

Monday morning we were thwarted every which way we turned to try to get to see some good sunrise photos. The roads (and most of the town) of Banff were still heavily flooded which cut off our likely paths of travel to the good view points. But we made the best of it, the sleep town of Banff down below:

We found some more wildlife while killing time before breakfast:

Since we were blocked off from where we wanted to go, we went back to Lake Louise and hiked up to the Consolation Lakes:

After that we hiked back down, and just hung out the rest of the day trying to check out the town of Banff. Lots of things were closed so it was hard to play tourist, but we did our best. No real photos from that fun though. Here’s a video from the day:
