Welding Cart 2.0
After using the heck out of my small welding cart/fab table I finally moved up in the world. I sold my old faithful red box machine to a friend and upgraded to a 220v Twecco Fabricator 211i machine. When measured out, I thought I could still use the same cart I did for my smaller welder. It turned out not to be: It was time for a new cart. I knew I wanted something with drawers on it as I…

The Lone Ranger – Team Grand Wagoneer Replacment Springs
When I bent my front springs, I tried to find a replacement OEM type pack. After a little searching, I was seeing nothing but good things about BJ’s off-road. Unfortunately, they wound up being a wee bit irritating. I’d placed my order on 8/2/11 via the interwebz. One week later, my order was still ‘pending’. Several phone calls later (and lots of, “we’ll ship them now!” phone calls). I wound up canceling the order when they finially told me that…

4th ORT – SMORR 10-15-11
Well we made it down to SMORR again for their “SMORR in the fall” event. Which mostly just entailed us wandering around SMORR again. The truck did fairly well, but it was not without some downfalls. Travel: For the better part of the day, the wife and I followed the rasin: And Casper the invisible Cherokee: Random Shots from the day: At some point after lunch, Casper bugged out and we started playing around with a couple of buggy type…

It rained on us all the way until Noon: Shot of the group in the parking lot: Somehow I got elected trail guide and we headed off into the park: For some reason, people like to follow me around, so we started wandering around and I manged to immediately led the group to a very slick, muddy hill climb: Videos (click the picture): We pushed on through the…

The Lone Ranger – 30,000 mile update
The truck really hasn’t had any major changes since Nov of 2011 when I swapped in the front D60. So I figured it was about time to do a bit more or a long term update. At this point, I have put 30,000 miles on this thing since the initial build back in early 2011. So I’ve been putting miles on it at roughly the 15,000 miles/year mark which is cool. I wasn’t lying when I stated that my wheeler…
